Dub & Reggae Horns MULTIFORMAT

We are proud to present Dub & Reggae Horns, a massive collection of fat brass sections for 100% royalty free use in your tracks. You’ll find loops, riffs, noodles and swells within, in a variety of tempos, formats and feels.

These horns were performed and recorded by long time collaborators Rob Mitchell (Abstract Orchestra), and Simon Beddoe (Submotion Orchestra). Collectively they have performed and recorded with the likes of The Brand New Heavies, Rag n Bone Man, Candi Staton, Lisa Stansfield, Craig Charles Fantasy Funk Band, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Slum Village, The Haggis Horns and The New Mastersounds to name but a few.

Rob and Simon’s Dub & Reggae Horns is a strictly dubwise selection, weighing in at 828 MB and working in a multitude of keys and playing styles to ensure you’ve got a horn for all your sound system workouts. Drawing influence from classic Ska and rocksteady horns, right up to modern influences such as Gentleman’s Dub Club and Fat Freddy’s Drop, you’ll hear trumpets, tenor sax, flugel horns, baritone sax and mixed horn arrangements inside!

You’ll find each sound is bursting with character and sheen – only high-end recording equipment and state of the art microphones have been used to seize every nuance and ensure the full reggae spirit was captured. At tempos between 90-140bpm, Dub & Reggae Horns will suit the named genres as well as dancehall, reggaeton, jungle and any other Jamaican-influenced sounds.

In detail, expect to find 828 MB of content, with all audio recorded at 24Bit & 44.1KHZ. There are 72 mixed horn loops, 62 tenor sax loops, 61 trumpet loops, 53 flugel horn loops and 35 baritone sax loops. Also included are 283 Rex2 files and 2 horn section multis.
