Learn how to turn your songs into crystal clear, rich and powerful commercial-level masters alongside a professional audio engineer.
My name is Bastiaan, I’m a full-time audio engineer and music producer and I’d love to help you with getting your music ready for release and radio.
This extensive mastering class provides a framework for massively improving the overall audio quality of your music and includes fundamental knowledge on when and why to use what plugins and techniques.
We’ll master a well mixed demo track together from start to finish and you’ll learn everything you need to know about compression, EQ, saturation and much more. I’ll go very much in-depth on every important process we come across.You can also opt to follow along with your own track if you would prefer that.
Why should you listen to what I have to say?
I have gathered a substantial amount of knowledge and practical experience on this subject through my education in music and thousands of hours of hands-on work as a music producer and audio engineer. Before you watch:
- The class is taught in Izotope’s Ozone 8 and 9, but can be followed using any other DAW/mastering suite
- No expensive software or hardware is required to follow the class. Stock plugins will do just fine.
- This is not a quick n’ easy type of class. We will dive into the matter of mastering really deep and explore the finest details of compression, equalization, etc.
- A basic understanding of music production is required for the class to be useful.
- Experimenting is key. Use my advice as a framework, not a template to re-use over and over.
- Remember to take breaks regularly to keep the ears fresh.
