Mr. Bill ft Freddy Todd – Colloidal Drip (Ableton Live Template)

Colloidal Drip (ft. Freddy Todd) Ableton Project File From Mr. Bill

*Notes*

There’s a FabFilter – Pro-L on the master that I can’t freeze, so basically if you don’t have that, the track will just be a little quieter, feel free to use Live’s native limiter to turn it up if you need.

This project file is a little confusing so let me explain what’s going on here. Channels 1 through 17 are the “final product”, where after much back & fourthing, and stemming & resampling through Freddy’s system & mine, this is the final stem edit we ended up with, which is the version you hear on the album. However, it was a really small session, and it wasn’t very descriptive of the creative process, so from channels 18 through 56, I’ve tried to include a bunch of the MIDI & the audio sampling processes so you can see from where the stems were derived in the first place 🙂 Feel free to unmute these & listen through and check out what I’ve done on those channels to get a better idea of how this tune was written, but if you want to hear the final version, listen to the colored stem channels!

This session uses both AU’s & VST’s (I know, crazy), however
everything is frozen, so regardless of what system you run or what
plug-ins you have, the session should run fine!

*Plug-ins Used (Frozen)*

· u-he – Zebra 2
· u-he – Uhbik
· FabFilter – Pro-L
