RatchetGxds Computer Love WAV
If Cyborg from the “Justice League” and Seven of Nine from “Star Trek” had a little borg baby who grew up and became a musician, this is what they’d sound like. 21 loops of electronic sexiness. Zapp& Roger would be proud.
Formed in 2015 by Sound Junkie and Cain, along with the addition of JFK in 2016, the Philly bred production/sound design trio “Ratchet Gxds”, have surely been making their mark in today’s music industry. Recognized most recently for their production on BMG singer/songwriter, Kaydence’s “Pen Piper” album, these three have no problem bringing their unique sound into a world where most people are following what’s trendy. “I want our music to feel like Jesus Christ eating grapes in a strip club.” Cain explained to Sound Junkie when they first began creating together. And so they formulated a sound unlike any other production team and with the help of their teammate, JFK, their sound has earned the recognition by some of today’s biggest producers, and musicians worldwide. Although they are monstrous team, each member of the Ratchet Gxds is a beast within their own right. Cain being dubbed the “mad scientist” of the group, he is a master at synth manipulation and design amongst many other attributes. Sound Junkie a.k.a. “Bounce Gxd”, draws the listener in with his custom drums and background textures and then throws the listener into a roller coaster of sonic emotions with his arrangements. And JFK brings soulful chord progressions and beautiful key bass arrangements to make each Ratchet Gxds record full and complete.
