Sunday Supply Torn Down: Post-Jazz Boom Bap WAV

Sunday Supply Torn Down Post – Jazz Boom Bap WAV

Reflecting on the classics of old-school East Coast Hip Hop, Post-Jazz Boom Bap distills the live energy and analog production aesthetics of groups like A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul. Raised on jazz, these New York visionaries drew from the sonic DNA of their previous generation, shaping the foundations of Hip Hop.

In an ode to its originators, Post-Jazz Boom Bap was recorded on a Neve console directly to 24-inch tape, boasting retro fidelity and warmth that can’t be fabricated. Crispy drum breaks, woozy electric pianos, and thumping upright bass outline the rhythm section essentials, while shimmering guitars, tenor sax, and flute round out the top end, produced and performed by Half Cool (Dominic Missana, Davy Levitan and Christopher Ottaviano).

Waiting to be chopped, resampled, or dropped into a session as-is, Torn Down: Post-Jazz Boom Bap is one for the old-school purists and the new-school appreciators alike, handmade with vintage gear and timeless musicianship.

Welcome to Sunday Supply, your home for lofi hip-hop, bedroom beats, boom bap and all things chill. Discover the analogue warmth of well loved synths, soulful melodies, dusty tape drums and warped jazz cuts. Created by a team of musicians and producers working with the sounds they love to deliver the best lofi and chill samples.
